In memory of John Christopher ( Chris ) Miller

October 13, 1982 – July 10, 2010

Our hearts are filled with sorrow,

And our minds are lost in thought,

As we celebrate your life,

And to what each of ours you brought,

And to those of us who knew you,

Summer student to front end,

You were a co-worker but first and foremost,

A true and valued friend.

Your manners were impeccable,

You were always so polite,

Ready, willing and eager to help,

An absolute delight.

Initially shy and quiet,

That clean-cut boy next door,

All but disappeared,

As we got to know you more,

And we came to see your playful side,

The sometimes zany- and the fun,

All of the many facets of the man you had become.

A man we shall remember,

And who will be so dearly missed,

By all those who’s lives you touched,

And Chris, that’s quite some list!
