Committed to equal access to organized sports and recreational programs for all youth
About the fund
Through the Chris Miller Memorial Fund many children will have opportunities and experiences they might not have had otherwise. Chris was a very active participant in sports from his early childhood onward. Participation in sports is a way to experience Chris’ spirit and carry on his legacy. We invite you to browse this site and learn more about the Fund, our objectives, events and for those who did not know him, a chance to learn more about Chris himself.
The Mission
The focus of the Fund is to assist families in need of financial support so their children may participate in organized sports and recreational programs. The Fund will provide monetary support with program registration fees and equipment . It is our belief that no child should be deprived the opportunity and positive influence that organized sports and recreational programs provide due to economic circumstances beyond that child’s control. Our objective is to assist local youth in building self-confidence, self-esteem and encourage a healthy, active lifestyle. These values reflect those of Chris Miller, a dedicated lover of sports, who was lost at 27 years of age in tragic accident on July 10, 2010.
Chris’ parents, Jack and Debbie Miller express a heartfelt thank you to you for your generosity, support and prayers, only with your help are we able to keep Chris’ spirit alive.
